  1. Why vote for a cell that if it stops producing energy you can get diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's when you can vote for a cell like Lysosome that breaks down materials such as sugar and fat and remove dead cells! If I were you I wouldn't take the risk vote for Lysosome

    1. Good comment Marc, I also agree that the mitochondria is a risky organelle, vote for lysosomes!

  2. Mitochondrial diseases are chronic (long-term), genetic, often inherited disorders that occur when mitochondria fail to produce enough energy for the body to function properly. One in 5,000 individuals has a genetic mitochondrial disease. Each year, about 1,000 to 4,000 children in the United States are born with a mitochondrial disease. With the number and type of symptoms and organ systems involved, mitochondrial diseases are often mistaken for other, more common, diseases. The mitochondria is much overlooked and should be blamed for these genetic diseases. Did you know if cells didn't have lysosomes, waste would build up in the cell, because there wouldn't be anything to break down the extra waste material. Also, your body wouldn't be able to fight off bacteria and you'd become ill. The lysosome is a crucial organelle in the cell and human health. Vote now for lysosomes!

  3. Did you know that mutations in the mitochondrial are associated with many diverse human disorders! they accumulate during age and are responsible for most age related disorder. Why vote for a disease causing organelle when you cant vote for the vacuole! The vacuole provides storage, waste disposal and structural support!!

  4. Yes it is true that the mitochondrion is valuable for the creation of ATPs but were you aware of all it's down falls? The mitochondria can lead to diseases like Alper's disease which is an infantile disease, the 3 main symptoms being; dementia, seizures and liver disease and others being; blindness and cerebral degeneration. DNA depletion syndrome is also something to worry about with mitochondria this is why you should vote for something more reliable like the Cellular Membrane which protects against bacteria and viruses, is vital to the cell's health and has been keeping the cell together this whole time because without it the cell would not be here.
